A capital federal sediou na semana passada, a segunda Conferência Nacional de Vereadoras, evento promovido pela Associação Brasileira de Câmaras Municipais (Abracam/Mulher). A entidade é presidida pela vereadora angrense Titi Brasil (MDB) e levou palestrantes de diversos ao evento, realizado os dias 23 e 26 de maio, no auditório da Anatel, em Brasília.
Representantes do governo federal também acompanharam parte dos debates, além de parlamentares e de uma representante do Ministério da Igualdade Racial, além de líderes femininas de vários partidos. Entre as palestrantes estavam as vereadoras delegada Fernanda (SD), da cidade de Formosa (GO); Fátima Pereira (PSD), de Casimiro de Abreu (RJ); e Cláudia Guerra (PDT), de Uberlândia (MG).
A segunda conferência das parlamentares de todo o Brasil ainda teve apresentações da subsecretária Municipal de Políticas para Mulheres de Itaperuna (RJ), Luciana Moreira; da advogada Nathalia Begot; da coordenadora de Participação Política em Espaço de Poder do Ministério da Mulher, Andreza Xavier; e da superintendente de Desenvolvimento Turístico da Fundação de Turismo de Angra, Amanda Salazar.
Durante a conferência foram apresentadas ainda palestras sobre violência política; captação de recursos para projetos voltados ao fortalecimento das mulheres, a importância das Procuradorias da Mulher nas Câmaras Municipais e outros temas do cotidiano feminino.
